I bought this (black vinyl - Merge Records) from my local shop on the day it was released and it was warped and had multiple skips throughout side B. I brought it back to the shop and got another copy. It didn't appear to be warped, but I played side B and it skipped six or seven times in tracks B1 and B2. I didn't play it any further, returned it to the shop as defective, and gave up hope for getting a vinyl copy of this album.

Okay, I just bought the Merge Records version and given the OP's comments I decided to give it a thorough cleaning with my Hannl RCM before playing. On first play there was no skipping on any tracks. There were a few stray ticks and pops-- very few-- and they did not mar playback. This is an excellent record in so many ways and it sounds really good on vinyl!
